Our client (turnover of several billion euros) is a worldwide known and leading brand manufacturer of various roofing systems for all building sectors. For a location in Europe, preferably in Luxembourg, or in the Rhine-Main area in Germany, we are looking for a
- Responsible for the leading and development of the Engineering and Process Engineering team
- Continous improvement of process performance and product quality at more than 15 sites, reducing process variability and implementing improvement projects
- Improve OEE / GAE, lower waste, lower downtime and lower costs
- Project prioritization of resources
- Establish and maintain high quality engineering support to the plants by applying theoretical knowledge and practical skills
- Co-ordinate and produce detailed programmes for work to ensure that objectives and timescales are reached for various improvement and saving projects
- Responsible for the analysis and documentation of the processes
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- Several years of demonstrated experience in process engineering, process- / process design, industrial experience, for example in the areas of bitumen, petrochemical, chemical or plastic extrusion,etc
- Very good knowledge of manufacturing analysis tools such as statistical analysis
- statistical process control (SPC), process capability studies, lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and/or Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Very good management skills, leadership and leadership of international teams
- Good problem solving skills to solve and resolve team issues
- Convincing communication skills at various management levels
- Good English skills and openness to other cultures
- Willingness to travel
